Create a ripple of change with volunteering.

Together, we can help the world rise

Most problems we deal with are too complex to be solved by one person. It takes passion to accelerate progress. It takes commitment to create change. But, it takes our collective efforts to transform lives and communities.

Ignite

Bhumi is working towards providing holistic education and creating sustainable livelihoods for 5,000 children in the next ten years. For this they focus equally on shelter homes, communities and schools, increasing impact and sustainability.

Bhumi bridges the gaps in formal education and opportunities by providing under-privileged children language and STEAM education, life-skills support and scholarships for higher education.

  • Volunteers at orphanages engage in providing holistic education and life skills support.
  • Fellows at low-income private and government schools focused on school transformation and improving learning outcomes.
  • Community youth at after-school community centers in urban slums, striving to improve community ownership on the education of their children.

Catalyse

Bhumi’s Catalyse Program aims to get every Indian participating in volunteering. It involves volunteering for causes like environment, animal welfare, community welfare, and more.

Volunteers can join or start impactful civic projects. Imagine the transformation India can see with volunteering as a national habit.

Leadership development

One of India’s first experiential fellowship programs to take a whole-school approach to transformation.

This programme offers in-depth training, collaboration opportunities and life-long access to alumni-changemakers. The Bhumi fellowship aims to create leaders who can change the Indian Education System.

"The Bhumi Fellowship has been an eye-opener in terms of understanding myself and the world around me. Despite the challenging times we find ourselves in, by being here, I feel that either I am a part of the solution, or actively working towards it. This is a wonderful start in understanding our education system better and working on improving it, together."
